Brewin Dolphin provices financial investment services to high net worth clients; it wished to make its main marketing website more user centric and appealing.

2 Scope and approach

Working alongside the team's designer I was involved in the user experience aspects of the redesign which involved initial interviews, persona development and user testing.

3 Tasks

  • 10 initial in-depth interviews to understand clients' mental model and attitudes towards financial services advice
  • development of personas based on research data to inform the design and work with the client to develop the information structure and high level content
  • user testing of the high-fidelity prototype with 12 users
  • review of the navigation structure using OptimalSort Treejack online IA testing tool
